A disappointed solicitor
I was approached this morning in the school playground by a solicitor friend of mine. He asked me if I had heard about the chaos the courts are in re interpreters.... He recounted similar stories as to those below, i.e. interpreters turning up in overalls for Crown Court trials, not turning up at all, linguistically not being able to cope etc. He said that the Courts felt the situation was a total mess.
