ALS unable to provide a Lithuanian interpreter for Scunthorpe Magistrates'
Got a call at 16:38 today from Scunthorpe's Mag. requesting my attendance for tomorrow morning. ALS can't provide a Lithuanian interpreter. I was told that in the event if ALS can't provide an interpreter they should use the National register. I explained that the moment ~MOJ~ started using ALS, the national agreement became invalid in my eyes and that I will have to charge them commercial rates from now on. I was told that she would relay that to her management.
I only hope that other Lithuanian interpreters in this area will give the same answer.
