Crown Court judge has hit out at an interpreting service for not supplying translators for court cases. Applied Language Solutions were ordered to court to explain why a Lithuanian interpreter didn't turn up for a hearing. And last week a similar thing happened when a man accused of assaulting the Peterborough MP Stuart Jackson was in court.
So why are these translators not turning up for work? Iwona Chodzicka who works as a police translator for the police, courts and the NHS explains.
