In the Telegraph article below, Cabinet Minister Francis Maude is quoted as saying that ALS "clearly miscalculated" and describes it as a "failing company".
He added: "I challenge anyone to find a correlation between failure to perform and size." Well, let me take you up on your challenge, Mr. Maude. If you need a large pool of competent professionals who will turn up and do their job properly but you have only a tiny one available to you, you will fail to perform! There's your correlation.
