FOI response from MoJ: quality audit and number of linguists
After 3 months a response to my FOI requests has finally been issued. See the link below.
On the question of whether the MoJ has done any quality auditing of any of the ALS linguists, the simple answer is no. Not one single ALS linguist has had their credentials checked by the MoJ. They simply trust ALS to do it.
With regard to the numbers of linguists ALS has placed on the much vaunted LIT register, this information has been refused on the grounds of commercial confidentiality.
