This whole interpreter debacle is starting to make me angry. Just saw one who translated nothing but the charges and opening.
This chap also had to be directed by the judge to translate the prosecution opening. Was obviously struggling to find the words he needed.
Whoever came up with this bright idea needs to get arrested overseas and put in a court that refuses to translate proceedings for them.
Speaking independently, the Ministry of Justice are brazenly pissing over defendants' Article six rights for the sake of a few million quid.
