Another ALS no-show: suspect released
Last week there was a Polish defendant in custody at York Magistrates' Court for a breach of bail. ALS was contacted to provide an interpreter, but he was not able to attend in time for the "custody clock" which was running out at 2 pm for a breach of bail.
Final result: the court had no option but to release the suspect.
