Are ALS booking wrong interpreters on purpose?
ALS is booking Interpreters for languages which are not their right languages or they are not registered or qualified for that specific language or dialect. Here's my experience:
I don’t work for ALS. So far I have received 3 offers for Kurdish Kirmanji which I am not qualified for, I have never done any job in this Dialect. I am a Kurdish Interpreter but for different dialects not for Kirmanji. Even if they found my details on the NR, I presume that they have noticed that I am not registered for this dialect. So what is the reason behind it?
As all of us know that ALS is on the edge of its grave and they started to book wrong Interpreters to send them on assignments. When it is discovered that the interpreter is not the right interpreter for the language/dialect required then they say 'sorry it was a mistake.'
