Cannabis case delayed until June for Vietnamese interpreter
A VIETNAMESE man charged with cannabis production three years ago has had his case adjourned until an interpreter is available.
Vinh Ha, 28, of Former 83, Emm Lane, in Bradford, appeared at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on April 22.
He faced two charges.
One was for producing a quantity of cannabis and the other for dishonestly using without due authority a quantity of electricity
Both offences were in Salford and were discovered on November 12, 2018.
Mr Ha, who was not represented, appeared in an afternoon session at the court.
The case was adjourned.
It will now be heard on June 8 instead, at the same court.
The reason given was for a Vietnamese interpreter to be available.
Mr Ha was remanded on unconditional bail.
The 28-year-old must attend in June.#
